A teaching aid devoted to climate change
Together with and for middle school students, myclimate climate education is developing a teaching aid devoted to climate change. This is an age-appropriate textbook that brings the subject to life. It motivates students to do independent research, have discussions and to take action.
Not a single day passes that we are not reminded of climate change. However, what causes climate change and why it would be such a terrible thing is more difficult to understand. It must be even harder for children to understand the whole idea. Children see the world through different eyes, and they approach life with much more hope and a refreshing naivity. Anything seems possible! And this is exactly the feeling we want to reinforce in them. We don't want children to lose their hope and to merely know how severe the state of the world is. We want children to know that anything is still possible. They hold the future in their hands!
This is why myclimate climate education is working with students to put together a teaching aid devoted to climate change. Under the guidance of myclimate climate education, the students themselves become authors, research fascinating facts, examine climate change from multiple perspectives and expose myths about the climate. The goal we are working toward is an age-appropriate and engaging teaching aid by students, for students.
For teachers, the result will be a ready-to-use package, and all they need to do is access it and put it into action.
