Project trips with myclimate and Globotrek

Long-time myclimate partner Globotrek offers first-hand insides on climate protection projects. The travel experts from Globotrek designed three exciting trips that take visitors either to East Africa, Bolivia or Nepal. Beside fantastic cultural and unique nature experiences the myclimate climate protection project-visits make the difference to common travel packages. Participants get in touch with project developers and local beneficiaries and get an idea how climate protection projects affect the climate and the living conditions positively.

On 20 September 2014 the project trip to Bolivia starts under the claim "Ancient cultures and the power of the sun". It includes the Lake Titicaca, pre-colonial cultural sites, the deserts and salt lakes. Two projects show how solar energy protects the environment and affects the energy supply of the population in a sustainable way. The trip is also offered for May 2015.

On 2 November 2014 the journey to Kenya and Uganda starts. Four myclimate projects with different technologies complement the program that guarantees great nature and wildlife experiences in the famous national parks.

Also at the beginning of November, climate and travel interested persons are invited to explore the beauty of Nepal according to the motto „mountain giants and biogas”. The visited project there is implemented together with WWF Switzerland. There is also a second date for this trip in March 2015.

If you are interested to participate or if you have any further questions, don’t hesitate to contact Globotrek or myclimate directly.
