25 November 2008: New myclimate partner in Sweden
myclimate is now also present in Sweden. U&W [you&we], a consulting firm focusing on sustainability, offers as myclimate reseller the offsetting in myclimate carbon offset projects. The program "zeromission" targets mainly companies.
14 October 2008: myclimate represented in Luxembourg
myclimates international network is growing. Latest newcomer is the non-profit-organisation MyClimateLux which offers carbon offsetting for individuals and businesses. On top of that, the organisation informs about climate change and advices companies on how to avoid or reduce carbon emissions.
13 October 2008: bravofly supports myclimate
bravofly - one of the most used flight booking platforms in Italy and also present in Spain, France, Germany, UK and Switzerland - supports myclimate by investing EUR 30,000 in a myclimate hydropower project in Indonesia. In addition, on all six country websites, the users are informed about the possibility to offset their emissions with myclimate.

How to get there
From Zurich Main Station (Zürich Hauptbahnhof) there are several S-Bahn lines to the station Zurich Enge:
S 2 (Direction Ziegelbrücke) Platform 53
S 8 (Direction Pfäffikon SZ) Platform 52
S 24 (Direction Horgen Oberdorf) Platform 51
Zurich Enge is the 2nd stop.
Instead of taking the train you may take the tram (no. 6 or 7) from Zurich Main Station to the Station Enge (Bahnhof Enge).
From the Station Zurich Enge walk along Seestrasse. The street follows the rails. Take a left at Sternenstrasse. Open the gate at number 12. Our office is the last house in the line.

3 September 2008: "Carbon counters" in Cologne Bonn Airport
Since the beginning of the month, the Cologne Bonn Airport has set up eye-catching, electronic "carbon counters" in the waiting areas of both terminals. The internet-accessed columns offer passengers the opportunity of offsetting their flight emissions with myclimate. There is also the option of donating online via the button "Flying carbon neutral" on the Airport website. More.

29 August 2008: myclimate goes down under
Since August 2008, myclimate is represented in New Zealand and Australia by AIRSHED. The New Zealand company wants to help people to take action against climate change. They help measuring carbon footprints, reducing carbon emissions and offseting what's left.
16 May 2008: myclimate top-rated again
myclimate ist one of the best carbon offset providers worldwide. This is the judgement not only of the Tufts University in Boston but also of the british environmental consultant ENDS. Read more.
15 February 2008: Climatop
myclimate and the eco centre Langenbruck have together formed the sponsorship «Climatop» with the aim of making the climate-sparing products easily recognizable for the customer. At the beginning of March, Migros will be the first enterprise in Switzerland to sell the first two products with the label in its stores. More.
10 December 2007: myclimate at the Climate Conference in Bali
myclimate organised an official side event on quality in the carbon offset market at the United Nations Conference on Climate Change in Bali on 4th of December. Seven experts discussed the current standards in the market. Most panellists agreed that the Gold Standard is the most credible standard for voluntary offsets. More.
6 November 2007: Virgin Atlantic
myclimate is cooperating with Virgin Atlantic in climate protection. The Swiss non-profit foundation and the British airline are offering Virgin Atlantic’s passengers high quality carbon offsets, not only online but also onboard. More.
17 September 2007: Cooperation with Lufthansa and Swiss
With Lufthansa and Swiss myclimate managed to win over two more high-profile partners for its climate protection program. Both airlines offer their passengers the option to make their air trip CO2-neutral through myclimate. More.
15 July 2007: Cooperation with Fleurop
Thanks to the new cooperation between myclimate and Fleurop, customers can order their flowers for an additional charge of € 1.20 climate neutral on www.fleurop.de. This amount is used to offset the emissions produced during the production and the transport of the flowers.
10 July 2007: myclimate in Canada
myclimate recently concluded a partnership with the Canadian environmental research and consultancy organization Unisféra. Unisféra is a trustworthy and widely connected partner who will represent myclimate exclusively in the Canadian market. The new service offered by Unisféra is called Planetair and gives individuals the possibility to offset their flight, car or home emissions. For companies and organisations Planetair offers customised solutions.
20 June 2007: myclimate in Austria
myclimate has a partner in Austria. The Austrian Institute of Ecology has been operating since 1985 in the area of ecology and sustainability. At www.myclimate.at, the well-established environmental research and consultancy organization offers the possibility to calculate and offset emissions. Individuals can offset their flight emissions with the myclimate ticket, companies, organisations and events can get climate neutral.
3 May 2007: Volvo Automobile Schweiz is partner with myclimate
Volvo Automobile Schweiz is the first car importer in Switzerland to establish a partnership with the climate protection organisation myclimate. From June 2007, Volvo drivers will have the opportunity to offset the annual CO2 emissions of their vehicle model. More.

The United Nations’ World Climate Research Programme (WCRP) is the first international environment programme to offset carbon emissions from business travel. The WCRP is cooperating with myclimate to make its trips climate neutral. The emissions are offset in projects in India and Cambodia.

Mai 2006:
Climate neutral cut flowers! Blumen Rosinski is a Cologne-based familyowned flower business that decided to go climate neutral, encouraged by the growing environmental awareness of the customers and the significant impact of cut flower production and transport on climate change. The resulting CO2 emissions are being compensated by a myclimate carbon offset project in Ladakh (India). Get more information.
