A new partnership is always a reason to celebrate. From myclimate’s perspective, our work with the Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP) represents a major accolade for our competency and service tools.

On 1 May 2014, myclimate was named as a CDP Silver Consultancy Partner in Switzerland. These two well-known organisations in climate protection are joining forces, sharing as they do a dedication to climate protection and a vision of the global economy.

On 1 May 2014, myclimate was named as a CDP Silver Consultancy Partner in Switzerland. These two well-known organisations in climate protection are joining forces, sharing as they do a dedication to climate protection and a vision of the global economy as a partner. This partnership is the logical outcome of a long-standing collaboration. myclimate offers businesses custom-built solutions and systems to expand and provide evidence of existing climate protection projects in order to meet CDP requirements.

“We are proud to be a CDP partner and have their acknowledgement of our competency in data collection, analysis and preparation”, says Daniel Kammerer, Head of Carbon Management Services at myclimate. “We are working towards a world shaped by long-term, sustainable investments. Since myclimate pursues the same goals, it was only logical that we take the next step and combine our strengths to benefit climate protection. myclimate’s expertise in sustainability will be a massive advantage for companies that report their climate emissions to the CDP”, says Susan Dreyer, Director DACH (Germany, Austria, Switzerland) Region CDP.

CDP has long been a pioneer in global climate protection. It focuses on measuring and publishing climate-relevant data relating to companies and cities. CDP offers the world’s only global reporting system that companies can use to make environmental and climate information transparent for investors and the general public. More than 4,500 companies worldwide – including more than 90% of Europe’s largest listed companies – made the decision to publish data relating to climate change via the CDP in 2013.

myclimate offers custom-built solutions for producing CDP-compliant reports and continuously improving CDP rankings year-on-year. Two companies in particular, Swisscom and Adecco, have managed to drastically improve their CDP ranking in the space of a few years with the help of myclimate services.
