Chasing clouds in Winterthur

22. April 2013

Wind, cold temperatures and even sleet. Can bad weather be a hindrance? No, not when introducing guests and residents to a new presentation from the seventh Swiss myclimate Audio Adventure.

Chasing clouds in Winterthur

In spite of the nasty onset of winter, the Day of the City Tours in Winterthur provided a fitting atmosphere for the opening of the newest myclimate Audio Adventure. Since April guests and residents of Winterthur can enjoy the special listening experience themselves. In an entertaining and age-targeted manner for adults, teenagers and children, the new myclimate Audio Adventure inspires the visitors with the elements of a climate-friendly everyday routine while taking a walk.

Winterthur, once a significant industrial location, is known today as a garden and bicycle-friendly city, and is highly regarded for its museums and cultural scene. These offerings are now enhanced by the myclimate Audio Adventure, which takes its participants on an exciting discovery adventure through the gardens of Winterthur, revealing the rich and exciting industrial history and climate protection practices.

During the course of the pleasant tour, both adults and children learn a lot about the city which would otherwise not be known by visitors and residents. The individual stories can also be downloaded in advance. After the tour, participants can use their newly-acquired knowledge to solve a puzzle and win attractive prizes donated by partners. This is the seventh Audio Adventure in Switzerland. In March 2013, as a part of the UNO Fresh Water Week in Scuol, the latest Audio Adventure was launched.

The myclimate Audio Adventure in Winterthur is a myclimate project, made possible by the partners Baumeler Travel Agency, Winterthur Tourism, and the Environmental and Health Protection of the city of Winterthur.
