Fröhlich Info AG from Zollikon, founded in 1924, has extended its business activities to cover various forms of media. The managing director couple, Claudia and Heinz Eberle-Fröhlich, explained the philosophy of Fröhlich Info AG.

What does sustainability mean to you? Necessity, competitive advantage, innovation driver?

For us, sustainability means carrying our business activities with heart and soul – and this in turn produces innovations and competitive advantages. The prevailing opinion, that sustainability is always linked to financial outlay, is something we do not share. The necessity to care for our environment now and in the future is however an obligation.

To what extent has the cooperation with myclimate helped your company?

myclimate supplemented our existing ecological measures and helped us achieve additional market advantages. Thanks to myclimate, we received professional and serious support during the implementation of climate-neutral production.

For more than 15 years now, Fröhlich Info AG has been producing solar energy using its own photovoltaic facility. The team at Fröhlich Info AG is working for customers with electric cars, and optimising and thus shortening transport routes. Raw materials are reintegrated into the recycling process in a consistent manner. The company was a pioneer for the printing sector solution of myclimate and has been certified as “climate-neutral” since 2009.
