Cooperation between freestyle.ch Zurich and myclimate
FIGHT CO2: On September 22, the cooperation between myclimate and freestyle.ch will be launched in Zurich by means of a wrestling match. myclimate’s standard-bearer CAPTAIN CLIMATE and the dominator EL REY LOCO2 will face each other. For the first time, the biggest freestyle sporting event in Europe will be conducted climate neutrally. myclimate calculated all the event’s climate-impacting emissions and freestyle.ch offsets them by investing in a myclimate carbon offset project in Indonesia. According to the president of the organizing committee, Erwin Flury, freestyle.ch has always been a platform for organisations engaging in social and ecological sustainability. Now, he said, it is also about sensitizing the community for the topic. In future, emissions will be reduced wherever possible and the inevitable rest will be offset.
