In independent studies, myclimate has already been judged several times to be one of the leading offset providers in the world on the voluntary market

A market check-up of the German consumer organisation (Bundesverband der Verbraucherzentralen, VZBV) in June 2010 concluded, that only three retailers for offsetting flight travels can be "fully recommended". myclimate is one of them.

In a survey of european providers for voluntary carbon offseting measures in February 2010, the Karl-Franzens-University in Graz, Austria, rated myclimate as "recommendable".

The ENDS Carbon Offsets Guide 2008 counts myclimate among the top 3 of 170 providers surveyed. The high quality standards that myclimate requires the carbon offset projects to fulfil was key in this result.

In a ranking by the Tufts Climate Initiative (Tufts University, USA) of international providers of voluntary offsetting measures in air travel, myclimate is also rated very well. Saying that "myclimate's high project standards, its transparency and good calculator makes it an excellent choice for offsetting air travel emissions", Tufts University ranks myclimate among the top four offset providers in the world. The study also shows that non-profit organisations like myclimate consistently invest a higher percentage of revenue in carbon offset projects than profit-oriented providers.
