Climate Protection Confirmation

The Volvo V60 Recharge for Business is climate neutral for its first three years of driving.

The carbon footprint calculated for the 400 vehicles will be compensated for via a sustainable carbon offset project by the myclimate foundation. This means that 100 percent of the carbon emissions produced by Volvo V60 Plug-in Hybrid vehicles in the “Recharge for Business” offer will be saved somewhere else. The emissions being offset include those from the vehicles’ production, maintenance/servicing, driving emissions for the first three years, and also disposal. By supporting carbon offset projects, not only are harmful emissions reduced, but the health of locals is also improved, whilst at the same time protecting the environment.
