myclimate Germany Donates 100 Solar Panels to Customers to Mark 5th Anniversary

For five years, myclimate has been active in Germany as well. To mark its 5th anniversary, myclimate Deutschland gGmbH visited key partners and thanked them for their involvement in climate protection with 100 solar panels and a special surprise.

Celebrating for the climate: myclimate CEO Stefan Baumeister presents Antje von Dewitz and Jan Lorch of Vaude with a Climate Cup.

"We would be nowhere without our customers," said Stefan Baumeister – the very reason the CEO of myclimate Deutschland gGmbH toured its key partner companies on the occasion of its own five-year jubilee. He "donated" a total of 100 solar panels to the company as part of the Mobisol climate protection project in Tanzania. These solar plants can save about 300 tonnes of CO₂ over the next seven years. Besides this virtual pledge of partnership, Stefan Baumeister had another surprise in his bag – the myclimate partners were thrilled to receive either a sculpture with genuine water from the North Pole or a cup symbolising "world-class climate protection". One stop on Stefan Baumeister’s jubilee trip was Hannover. "Climate protection is a matter that concerns us all," said Ilka Lauenroth of TUI Deutschland, explaining her company's dedication to the environment. The general manager of <link https: en climate-protection external-link externen link im aktuellen>TUICars did not hesitate to clarify why the tour operator cooperates with myclimate: "myclimate has great projects and great service."

In Tettnang-Obereisenbach, located in Baden-Württemberg, Stefan Baumeister met with Antje von Dewitz. The CEO of <link http: en-gb external-link externen link im aktuellen>Vaude congratulated myclimate Deutschland on its five-year history and expressed her pleasure at receiving the Climate Cup. "Together with myclimate, we determined how we would progress step by step to climate neutrality," she said in praise of the collaboration.

Stefan Baumeister visited a total of 15 corporate customers across Germany in the last few weeks, always bringing them a climate sculpture and a deed of donation for the solar panels – a total of 100 – in his bag.
