"Climate Pioneers" is an initiative of Swisscom with the partners Solar Impulse, myclimate and the Federal Office for the Environment. The project offers school classes from kindergarten to high school the possibility to realize own climate protection projects. In Bonstetten for example, 480 kids and teenagers implemented climate protection measures in 35 projects. Another project was realized in Guttannen, where a wind plant produces now electricity for the IT structure of the school building. In Horgen, scholars replaced an old solar energy plant with a new one which is much more efficient.
