The newest myclimate Audio Adventure happens in Zurich. It has the headline "Biodiversity, Boulevards and Climate Protection". It showcases the largest Swiss city in an exciting and a bit different way. The three Stories:
- Heat from the Limmat, biodiversity and new forms of housing
- Mia wants to know! (from 11 years)
- The lizard from the Zurich Hauptbahnhof (from 5 years)
give a lot of important information in a way that is both exciting and entertaining.
The tour, which can also be experienced with the free bikes from „Züri rollt“, starts at the Zurich Hauptbahnhof (Zurich's main train station). The route runs along the Limmat to the "Lettenviadukt", from there through Zurich "Kreis 5" via "Hardbrücke" to the new settlement "Kalkbreite". Across the "Helvetiaplatz" and the "Europaallee", it goes back to the station. A short extra loop meanders its way through the center, along the "Schanzengraben" until the "Niederdorf" and back again.
Overall, 11 stations await the visitors. The listening experience provides information on different exciting topics such as innovative living concepts (station 8, Kalkbreite), recycling and waste recovery at the highest level (station 5, Kehrrichtheizkraftwerk Josefstrasse) or animals that people would expect living in the city center (station 1 and station 5).
Visitors can get the audio equipment year-round at the tourist information in the Zurich Hauptbahnhof for free. The individual episodes are also available on the Audio Adventure Home Page to download on your own smartphone or tablet.
Together with the main partner Danone and local partners ewz and Zurich Tourism myclimate celebrated this anniversary in the restaurant Gerolds Chuchi in Zurich's Kreis 5. The actor Stefan Kollmuss, the main speaker of the Audio Adventure Zurich, performed live episodes from the three stories for invited guests.
