On Thursday, 7 March at ITB, myclimate invites you to a lesson in climate protection, from 5.00 pm on the Adventure Stage in Hall 4.1. As in previous years, the myclimate team will again honour sustainability pioneers and innovation drivers in the tourism industry with the myclimate Awards. Last year, the providers TUI Cruises, Schifffahrtsgesellschaft Luzern-Vierwaldstättersee and Kontiki Reisen were delighted to receive awards.

Before the awards are presented, Fritz Lietsch, Managing Editor of the Sustainable Business Forum, will be moderating a discussion panel. Together with two tourism experts – Simone Gruber, from the Tourism and Sustainable Development research group at the ZHAW School of Life Sciences and Facility Management, and Urs Wohler, Managing Director of Niesenbahn AG and former Tourism Director of the holiday region Engadin Scuol, Samnaun, Val Müstair – myclimate Marketing Manager Kai Landwehr will address questions around the responsibility for sustainable tourism offers. What needs to be done and what is the additional benefit to the provider? What about the willingness of customers to pay for this?
The myclimate team is available for personal discussions on all three trade visitor days at their own exhibition stand (Hall 4.1, Stand 260). In addition to myclimate “Cause We Care”, myclimate will present further solutions for the tourism industry, including our range of software for sustainability data.
