The YES special course on <link www.actis-education.ch/special-course-on-energy-systems-apply-now/ - external-link "Öffnet externen Link im aktuellen Fenster">“Smart Energy Systems: Policies, Practices, and Technologies”</link> provided deep insights into smart energy and climate technologies, policies towards energy transformations, and best practices in business and non-profit entrepreneuring. The intensive training was organized by myclimate and brought together first-rate scientists and practitioners representing the German Wind industry, NGOs, and policy makers.

16 engaged graduate students and young professionals from countries like Germany, Iran, Kenya, China, Poland, Saudi Arabia and Sudan learned about tools towards sustainable energy systems and shared specialized knowledge. They strengthened their know-how to facilitate change processes in society, and were able to meet practitioners working in Europe’s wind energy hub of Bremerhaven. Moreover, the participants were given plenty of scope to bring forward their own projects, which they can now take back to their countries and <link www.actis-education.ch/yes-alumni/ - external-link "Öffnet externen Link im aktuellen Fenster">to the YES alumni network</link> (1,500 students from 140 countries).
