In a ceremony in Scuol as part of the United Nations World Water Week, the new myclimate Audio Adventure by Ernst Bromeis, water ambassador from the Engadin in Switzerland, was opened. Despite heavy snowfall, there were more than 50 guests, who could not help trying out the new adventure themselves after the official opening.
The myclimate Audio Adventure is a special audio experience. During a walk, it communicates the consequences and effects of climate change in a fascinating and entertaining way. It is appropriate for both adults and children. The Adventure in the Lower Engadin is a myclimate project, made possible by our main partner Danone as well as other partners such as Baumeler Reisen and Tourism Engadin Scuol Samnaun Val Müstair (a local tourism association).
The audio experience consists of three stories narrated by the well-known actress Tonia Maria Zindel, who was born in Scuol. These portray the consequences of climate change locally, but also communicate information on the landscape, the stories used as sources, and local history. In the tourism centre, you can borrow audio devices and a map so that you can listen to the individual episodes of the connected story at specific stations. After the tour, participants can use their newly-acquired knowledge to solve a puzzle and win attractive prizes donated by local tourism and partners.
