New IPCC report

At the beginning of February, the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) published the central part of its fourth report on climate change. The new report confirms the conclusions of the last report from the year 2001; however, based on a larger amount of scientific data, studies and models, clearer statements are now possible. For example, the probability that global warming has been caused mainly by humans since 1950, is at least 90%.
