In his eulogy, Ban Ki-moon, UN Secretary General, stressed the importance of specific everyday actions and praised the outstanding lighthouse activities.

The myclimate delegation (René Estermann and Yuri Okubo) and their regional project partners Swisscontact (efficient brick production in Peru, represented by Jon Bickel and Jorge Delgado) and Biocomp (compost project in Kathmandu, Nepal, represented by Erwan Sauter and Puru Bista) accepted the awards.
