Through various sustainability measures, the intensive cooperation with myclimate and participation in the myclimate «Cause We Care» sustainability initiative, the hotel group shows its extensive commitment to sustainability in the tourism sector.

For example, the people responsible for the new construction of the Valsana Hotel & Apartments in Arosa paid attention to sustainable building activity and a forward-looking energy concept. Probably the most exciting element at Valsana is the innovative ice storage. Thanks to this ice storage, waste heat can be stored and reused. The combination of heat recovery, geothermal probes and ice storage makes it possible to operate the heating and water treatment of the entire building complex completely without fossil fuels, even in winter with double-digit minus temperatures.

With the innovative new construction of the Valsana Hotel & Apartments, the Tschuggen Hotel Group has dared to break new ground and to invest in new technologies.

Sustainability has not only recently started to play an important role for the hotel group. This topic has always been a priority.
