Lorenz Lehmann joins the myclimate Foundation Board

With Lorenz Lehmann, myclimate's top management body gains an experienced lawyer who has been active in sustainability consulting for over 20 years. At the same time, the two Foundation Board members Fredi Gmür and Simon Lehmann are stepping down from their myclimate mandates. The second vacant Foundation Board mandate will be assigned in the near future.

Lorenz Lehmann is a partner and lawyer at the consulting firm Ecosens Ltd. where he has been combining his legal expertise and his keen interest in environmental issues since its foundation. Many renowned companies and authorities from Switzerland and abroad have already benefited from his solid expertise. Lorenz Lehmann is looking forward to his new role as a member of the myclimate Foundation Board and is confident about meeting the challenges ahead:

“I am delighted to be able to commit myself even more intensively to a climate-friendly future as a new member of the myclimate Foundation Board and to work together with the entire team of this established organisation for effective climate protection. New challenges are facing myclimate and our entire society especially in the current situation in which questions regarding sufficient and secure energy supply are coming to the fore. It will be my pleasure to help tackle these and look for good solutions.”

The Foundation Board

The Foundation Board represents the supreme body of Foundation myclimate. As a matter of principle, its members are volunteers. The committee is responsible for compliance with the deed of foundation and strategic orientation of the organisation as well as issuing the necessary regulations for the management of the foundation. It sets the annual goals and approves the yearly results. The myclimate Foundation Board constitutes itself and appoints its own members. Urs Egger has been President of the myclimate Foundation Board since 2015.
