This benefits festival guests who can search ahead of time for information on which stands offer regional and vegetarian menus and which ones use fair trade products and Swiss meat from sources that comply with animal welfare guidelines.
myclimate had drawn up a carbon footprint for the OpenAir St.Gallen even before implementing this most recent concrete measure. It revealed that the “Food” sector offered the greatest potential for reducing emissions.
The OpenAir St.Gallen has committed itself to improving its sustainability strategy.
