Choose your favourite - myclimate Energy and Climate Laboratory 2016

The Energy and Climate Laboratory is showing no sign of letting up after nine years. In the 2015/16 project season, more than 100 teams of trainees and vocational school pupils submitted their entries for the nationwide competition. While a jury will select the winning projects in the four categories, the audience can choose its own favourite, too.

A winner team of the Energy - and Climate Laboratory 2014/15

2015/16 was the ninth year of theclimate education programme, the Energy and Climate Laboratory has become one of the best known educational projects in Switzerland. Once again, 107 teams of students have spent the past few months designing and submitting their own climate protection projects. The expert jury has selected the best twelve projects for the awards ceremony, which will take place on 9 June in the KKL in Lucerne during the eco2friendly days. Here the twelve nominated student teams will present their projects and pin their hopes on the first prize in one of four categories.

Vote and win

Once again, the audience will be able to help choose a winner this year by online vote. Votes can still be cast until Sunday 16 May. One night in a youth hostel-night for two people (sponsored by the Swiss Youth Hostels) will be raffled off among all participants.

The climate workshop’s goal is to accumulate environmental knowledge and combine commitment with technological skill, innovative spirit and design expertise. The workshop participants’ task is to develop products and projects that reduce CO₂, promote energy efficiency or raise awareness among the general public about everyday actions to prevent climate change.

Without professional and financial support from different sources, this Switzerland-wide project is not possible.
