product lifecycle analysis of three BOBST packaging products for a client was carried out by the myclimate experts. The analysis was performed according to the relevant standards ISO 14040 and ISO 14044 as well as the GHG Product Lifecycle Standard.

As a result, the client offset the emissions of its MASTERCUT 106 PER, EXPERTFOLD 50 and HANDYPACK GT via BOBST with myclimate. These products are therefore climate-neutral in their production and delivery.

In 2017, the product lifecycle analysis was carried out on a large scale for further 40 machines. Based on these calculations and with the help of the myclimate Calculate software solution, Bobst Mex now offers its clients the opportunity to calculate the CO₂ footprint of several folding-gluing, die-cutting and hot foil stamping machines and to compensate it in projects of the myclimate portfolio.
