Pupils plant 200 trees together with toptotop on Saint Helena

Planting 200 trees

The family Schwoerer - supported by myclimate - arrived this week in Saint Helena, an island of volcanic origin in the South Atlantic Ocean.

They visited the Pilling Primary School, Sabine performing the childrens puppet show, Dario having a presentation and the entire school performing a local clean-up. The class which had collected most rubbish, was supposed to plant trees. But as all the children were so enthusiastic, all 250 kids were allowed to plant trees - 200 trees! Have a look at the <link www.vimeo.com/36653594 - external-link-new-window>video</link>.

Sabine and Dario Schwoerer with their four children – all of which have been born on the expedition - travel to the seven summits, crossing all seven oceans – using only the power of nature and human force!

The goal is to inspire children for a better future. Visiting from School to School, they share the joy of sport and environmental awareness with young people all over the world!
