As of December 2012 and with the support of myclimate, Engadin Scuol Samnaun Val Müstair Inc. operates climate-neutrally. The Swiss tourism organisation offsets its carbon footprint with a myclimate climate protection project in Bolivia and Paraguay, where inefficient wood burning stoves are replaced by high efficiency rocket stoves or solar cookers.
The compensation is financed by the price money of the environment MILESTONE Award of 2011. This award was won by myclimate itself in 2012.
