myclimate makes environmental assessment for Swissmill

The leading Swiss grain mill is the first milling business to make an environmental assessment in cooperation with myclimate. It contains information about greenhouse gas emissions and further environmental effects caused by Swissmill’s corporate activities. Not only emissions caused at the site in Zurich were taken into account but also the ones caused by the raw materials. On the whole, raw materials account for the lion’s share of Swissmill’s emissions. Comparatively, the ones caused at the site in Zurich are low. This is because the company relies on renewable water power and on rail transport when it comes to delivery.
