Act – Energy Efficiency for Companies

Since 2013, act has assisted the government in the implementation of climate and energy legislation. myclimate is co-initiator and founder of act as well as a sponsor (of the association) and one of the principle shareholders (of the joint-stock company).

As part of the founder's association for the agency, myclimate has taken on a leading role in the overall development of act – the Swiss Cleantech Agency. Thanks to leaner, more efficient organisation, more precise knowledge of the federal government's compliance requirements and the integrated use and development of the most up-to-date IT tools, act was able to become operational quickly and expediently. In this way, in summer 2015, many services which were previously the mandate of myclimate could be insourced.

In particular, myclimate was responsible for the conceptualisation and development of the act IT web applications for target agreements and monitoring. In addition, up until 2015 myclimate was responsible for the training of energy advisers, the federal government and auditors, as well as for giving support to businesses, energy advisers and federal and cantonal government. Marketing activities in West Switzerland, quality assurance for target agreements and reporting likewise belonged to the services package provided by myclimate.

Thanks to myclimate, the cleantech agency act can offer SMEs and major consumers efficient energy monitoring, lean processes and an appealing visualisation using a reliable software solution.
