Offer: Competition for students and trainees, including input workshopThe myclimate Energy and Climate Workshop is a national project competition for students and trainees. Foresight and innovation for more climate protection and energy efficiency are in demand and have been implemented for more than ten years now in hundreds of projects.
The Energy and Climate Laboratory is an action-oriented education offer where students and trainees in vocational school or in company training can implement specific innovative projects on climate protection and energy efficiency. These projects are aligned with the knowledge and skills in their respective fields, promoting the students' or trainees' own initiative. Thanks to the partnership with the project sponsors EnergieSchweiz, Griesser and FH OST the Energy and Climate Laboratory has combined youthful creativity and commitment with in-depth environmental, energy and climate knowledge since 2007.
Thanks to this offer in vocational training, the topics of energy efficiency and climate protection – key challenges of the future – will gain a unique platform for reaching the talented staff of tomorrow. The best ideas are recognised in an award ceremony at the end of each training year in which the students or trainees take part in the competition.
myclimate Company Challenge
The myclimate Company Challenge was launched on the ten-year anniversary and let companies bring the Energy and Climate Laboratory as a whole into their business and be supported by myclimate education experts. In close coordination with the persons responsible for vocational training, sustainability and communication at a company, we organise company-internal project competitions for students and trainees. We train them on the topic of climate and sustainability, help discover ideas and support the student or trainee in project development.
The employees of the company are included via public voting to determine the results and naturally there is a celebratory Company Challenge-Apéro, where the best projects are personally acknowledged by the managing director. The Company Challenge allows a company to focus on its vocational training and sustainability commitment in a playful and pleasant way, both internally for its own employees and for customers and the public.
