The Bern-based travel agency Desert Team has already collaborated with myclimate for several years. Through advertisements in the travel catalogues, as well as myclimate flyers in the travel documents, travellers are motivated to offset the flights emissions produced during their trip with a voluntary contribution. Now Desert Team goes one step further, and as the first Swiss tour operator includes a climate contribution of 30 francs in every travel arrangement. At the end of April, Desert Team was able to present the first check to myclimate for the amount of almost 19,300 francs.
