Has climate protection actually arrived in the entertainment business? The answer to this question is "yes" and given by two German reggae musicians Mellow and Pyro, for whom the first climate friendly music clip world-wide was shot.
Thanks to musicians and freelancer more than half of the usually needed energy for a clip production was generated by driving special bicycles. The helpers pedalled hard and the energy input was only one kilowatt hour. Normally it is needed up to 100 kilowatt hours for a music clip shooting.
Transport, catering and energy requirements inclusive the clip shooting did not emit more than one tonne of CO2. Usually it is more than double. The inevitable emissions have been offset with myclimate. Thus, the music clip was produced climate neutral.
