Hostelling International (HI) decided to donate the money generated during their last environmental supporting day to a sustainable cause. Roughly 4'000 overnight stays were booked on hihostels.com on 26th March, the day that the campaign took place.
HI decided to donate both the booking fee and the commission from these bookings to a sustainable cause to further support environmental campaigns. The donation of HI will be used for the myclimate education project Hot Stuff - Chill Out.
