myclimate supports the manufacture and distribution of climate friendly solar cookers and efficient cookers in Madagascar, since this cuts CO₂ emissions and counteracts progressive deforestation. The Swiss-Madagascan organisation ADES (Association pour le Développement de l'Energie Solaire) has been producing solar cookers in Madagascar since 2002 and sells these to local families at a low price. In the past few years, its activities have expanded to cover the entire island, and the product range now includes efficient cookers that are the perfect addition to solar cookers. The current portfolio now includes various solar cookers and efficient cookers for households as well as for institutions and corporate clients such as schools and street kitchens.
