For products for which a carbon footprint has been calculated, the label "CO₂ calculated – Carbon projects funded" may be issued. It indicates that a carbon footprint has been calculated for the product in question and that myclimate is providing financial support for climate protection projects. Furthermore, the label confirms that an independent certification body verifies and monitors the calculation of the footprint and compliance with the myclimate certification programme. Using the tracking number integrated into the myclimate label, it is possible to check online at any time which myclimate climate protection project has been funded.
