What is climate neutrality?

Activities are climate-neutral or CO2-neutral if they do not pollute the air, i.e. not emit greenhouse gases.

Climate neutrality can be achieved if the CO2 emissions are reduced to a minimum and any remaining CO2 emissions are compensated with climate protection measures. If harmful greenhouse gases are completely avoided or already emitted gases are saved at another location, it is called "climate neutral".

With the myclimate CO2 calculator you can calculate and compensate your CO2 emissions.
