The energy sector has a considerable influence on climate protection. Through the balancing of product emissions from natural gas and with the myclimate label “Engaged for Impact”, myclimate supports a more climate responsible consumption in fossil gas. This means that as much gas as possible is supplied as biogas and for (ideally) unavoidable emissions from conventional natural gas, myclimate climate protection projects are financially supported equivalent to the balanced footprint.
Improve the climate friendliness of your natural gas by blending as much biogas as possible into the standard product and financing high-quality myclimate climate protection projects in the amount of the measured CO2 emissions of the remaining fossil gas. Even if the industry target of 30% renewable gas is achieved by 2030, this means that a large proportion of gas sales will still not be renewable. By making voluntary contributions to climate protection based on emissions generated by the use of fossil natural gas, you are responding to the growing customer demand for sustainable offers. Now is the perfect time to strengthen your customer loyalty in light of current market liberalisation!
Since October 2019, ebs Erdgas + Biogas AG has been supplying its customers with KlimaGas as a standard product. Based on the calculated emissions, an equivalent climate protection contribution is made for KlimaGas in partnership with myclimate. The energy supply company is going one step further with its climate offensive by offering climate-conscious customers the options of KlimaGas20 with 20 per cent biogas or 100 per cent renewable biogas.
Yverdon-les-Bains is considered "City of Energy" since 2010 and with the Agenda 21 they have introduced a programme of actions aimed at implementing sustainable development in a concrete way, at territorial level. As a concrete measure from this programme, Yverdon-les-Bains Énergies, in collaboration with myclimate, offers carbon footprinting for natural gas with a corresponding financial climate protection contribution.
Energiapro’s core business includes supplying natural gas and biogas, proposing solutions in the field of photovoltaic energy and providing renewable certificates. The company is part of the Holdigaz Group, which comprises 17 companies all active in fields directly related to the energy world. Through the charitable foundation myclimate, Energiapro calculates the total CO₂ emissions generated by the natural gas supplied to its customers and makes a corresponding climate protection contribution. Energiapro uses this contribution to finance various climate protection projects that have been classified as innovative by the foundation.

Employees are part of successful corporate climate protection measures. After all, it’s people who make decisions, are creative and drive change. We therefore recommend actively involving your employees. Last but not least, you will also be able to strengthen your status as a progressive, attractive company.
You as a company can make a contribution to the financing of myclimate climate protection projects. In addition to reducing your own emissions, this can be an important building block in your climate strategy towards reaching net zero. By engaging this way, you are already gaining voluntary experience in factoring in the costs of unavoidable CO₂ emissions and taking responsibility for them as a company.
Showcase your climate protection efforts and position yourself credibly and transparently as a responsible and progressive company. Benefit from increased brand awareness and recognition and motivate other companies and individuals to take action on climate change. By committing to educational projects, you are also laying the foundation for a climate conscious future.
